Our products are delivered through a UK haulier Palletways. Once you have placed your order you will be contacted usually via email or over the phone to confirm the delivery date for your pallet of bedding. Please note once you have received confirmation either by email or phone of the intended arrival date you must inform us within 2 working days of this notice to request any changes or amendments to the delivery date. Delivery times are 5 - 7 working days from the receipt of your order - please note if a 7.5 tonne lorry is required for the delivery, your goods will be delivered on the 5th working day or otherwise arranged.
If you have restricted access, please contact us either by email firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 01264 726760 to discuss your access so that we can ascertain what size of truck will be able to deliver to you – an arctic, 17 tonne or 7.5 tonne lorry.
Delivery times are between 8.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday (except public holidays). You agree to check the Products on arrival and to sign to confirm delivery on the 'Proof Of Delivery' and note any damage at this stage. Unless otherwise agreed, if you are not available to take delivery during the agreed date, Verdo will charge an additional fee for re-delivery.
Please be aware that delays to delivery are possible and are not within our control, so please ensure you order your bedding before it runs out.
Please check your delivery carefully to ensure that nothing has been damaged during transit. When you sign for receipt of the delivery, please be aware that you are signing to say that the products have arrived in good condition. If there is any damage then make sure you sign for the delivery as damaged on the electronic 'proof of delivery'; you will then need to let us know within three working days either by telephone or email. As almost everyone has a phone with a camera these days, take a quick photograph of the damage and attach it to an email so we can contact our haulier. As you can imagine, a pallet that has been picked up and moved a number of times would expect to incur a little bit of scraping to some of the packaging, so we would not expect to be contacted unless the pallet has incurred significant damage.
Although the drivers are usually very helpful, please be aware that they will not unpack the pallet. The driver will have a pallet truck and will wheel the pallet up to your premises if that is a reasonable distance and if the surface allows ie flat level surface. If you have a slope, gravel or soft surface then the driver will not be able to move the pallet over this surface and cannot offload pallets on a slope they can only unload on a level standing for health and safety, please check before the driver arrives to ensure there is a solid flat surface.
